About The Position

As a BDR – Growth, you’ll be on the front lines of introducing prospective customers to Proxima. Your mission: generate and qualify new business opportunities by connecting with forward-thinking eCommerce brands and agencies who are ready to scale with better shopper data and AI-driven insights. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to craft meaningful outreach, experiment with messaging, and build a predictable top-of-funnel pipeline. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love creative problem solving, and are hungry to learn—this is your launchpad.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or high-volume prospecting
  • Strong written communicator—you know how to make a cold email feel warm
  • Experience in the Shopify ecosystem or working with paid media/creative agencies
  • Deep curiosity about performance marketing (i.e. performance marketing), AI, and how modern DTC brands grow
  • Self-starter with a bias for action and hunger to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using Apollo, Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar tools
  • Professional, motivated, and customer-obsessed—you're energized by helping others win

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting: Identify high-potential DTC brands and agencies
  • Drive awareness: Share Proxima’s story and value through compelling, personalized outreach
  • Book qualified meetings: Schedule high-quality discovery calls and demos
  • Refine ICP and outreach playbooks: Test messaging and help sharpen targeting strategy
  • Track performance: Maintain clean records in Salesforce and report on pipeline activity
  • Engage: Be part of the e-commerce & performance marketing ecosystem by attending events and meetups.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Share feedback with Product and Marketing to ensure and continuously improve alignment
