About The Position

MegazoneCloud is at the forefront of the cloud revolution, and we’re building a world-class team to power our rapid expansion. We are looking for a hungry, tech-savvy, and persistent Business Development Representative (BDR) to be a founding member of our go-to-market engine. This is not a typical BDR role. You won’t just be running a pre-built playbook—you’ll be building it. Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3+ years in a B2B sales or business development role (SaaS, IaaS, or tech services preferred). We value impact and learning over years of tenure.
  • The 'Grit' Factor: You are a persistent self-starter who thrives in the face of ambiguity. You've shown you can "figure things out" and have stories of overcoming significant objections.
  • Tech-Savvy: You're not afraid of technical concepts. You can hold your own in a conversation with engineers and are comfortable interfacing with C-level tech execs.
  • Master Communicator: Flawless professional writing and verbal skills. You can craft a compelling, personalized email that breaks through the noise.
  • Tools Fluency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce is essential. Familiarity with prospecting tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a huge plus.
  • A Lifelong Learner (Non-Negotiable): You must be willing and able to obtain the AWS Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent AI) certification within your first 90 days. We'll support you, but you must drive this.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools and generative AI prompts for sales.
  • Domain knowledge in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Automotive, or Aerospace.
  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent compelling work experience).

Responsibilities

  • Be a Strategic Hunter: Systematically identify and prospect into target accounts (with a focus on Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Automotive) using a multi-channel approach: cold calls, custom email workflows, LinkedIn, and AI-driven prompts.
  • Master the Toolkit: Leverage our sales stack (Salesforce, Apollo, ZoomInfo) to manage your pipeline, orchestrate targeted campaigns, and meticulously document all activity.
  • Speak to Power: Articulate the MegazoneCloud value proposition with confidence. You'll be engaging technical leaders from VPs of Engineering to CIOs and uncovering their core infrastructure challenges.
  • Qualify & Convert: Skillfully overcome objections, identify qualified sales opportunities, and secure discovery meetings for your Account Executive partners.
  • Build the Playbook: This is a startup. You will be a critical part of developing and refining our email templates, call scripts, and prospecting strategies. We'll count on you to tell us what works.
  • Collaborate to Win: Partner closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Marketing to run targeted campaigns, provide market feedback, and ensure a seamless handoff for new opportunities.
