Business Development Representative (BDR) Fire & Water Restoration – Chicagoland 📍 Field-Based | Company Vehicle Provided About Romexterra Restoration Romexterra Restoration has been a trusted leader in fire, water, mold, and storm damage restoration in the Chicagoland area since 2003. Our reputation is built on fast response, operational excellence, and strong relationships within the insurance and home services community. We are growing and looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to expand our referral network and drive consistent revenue. Position Overview This is a field-based, outside sales role focused on building and maintaining strong referral relationships. You will be on the road daily, meeting with insurance agents, plumbers, contractors, property managers, and other industry professionals who can refer property damage losses to Romexterra. Success in this role is measured by daily activity, relationship depth, and revenue generated.

Requirements

  • Proven success in outside sales, business development, or relationship-based roles
  • Comfortable with daily field activity and high-volume in-person visits
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Google Workspace
  • Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in restoration, insurance, or home services is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 15–20 in-person stops per day with referral partners across Chicagoland
  • Build, manage, and maintain 25–300 active referral relationships
  • Develop long-term partnerships that consistently generate mitigation and reconstruction opportunities
  • Identify new referral sources and expand existing accounts
  • Attend industry events, client outings, and networking opportunities
  • Plan efficient daily routes to maximize productivity (company vehicle provided)
  • Work closely with marketing and operations to align messaging and execution
  • Track activity, referrals, and forecasts using CRM tools
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth
