Our Charleston Office is excited to have an opening for an experienced and proven Business Development Professional to join our growing team of colleagues. Our ideal candidate has a proven understanding of the design and construction industry and can leverage this knowledge and expertise to create and maintain trusted relationships with clients. We are looking for a colleague who easily establishes new relationships, and can manage contacts across markets, sectors and client types and manage a myriad of contacts. They will have shown they are adept at the organizational skills and prioritization needed to effectively juggle multiple deadlines while approaching each opportunity with energy, enthusiasm and a desire to excel. A Day in the Life: Lead, drive, create and maintain relationships with clients whose need for LS3P’s services is current or anticipated Work well both independently and in a team environment, partnering with Office Leaders, Sector and Practice Leaders, Business Development team members, Marketing Coordinators and subject-matter experts across the firm Generate opportunities, gather intelligence, and develop and execute a successful pursuit strategy which is consistently shared with local leadership Represent LS3P in the greater Charleston area across all market sectors with a concentration in the core market areas for these locations Develop and execute strategic planning in conjunction with the local sector leaders, local office leaders and business development team Attend and actively participate in local and regional organizations related to our vertical markets with weekly reports to local team Prepare and manage complete annual business development budget including but not limited to all events, expenses, conferences, sponsorships, publications, memberships and investments Maintain and build ongoing knowledge of sector trends, community forecasting, current local workload and past projects for each market area Track project wins/pursuits to meet local annual NSR goals. Monitor and drive revenue goals per sector and office
