Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a top MBA program (rising 2nd-year) with a strong academic record
  • Demonstrated interest in biotech, and life sciences
  • Prior experience in life sciences consulting, investment banking, or business development
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information clearly
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to be onsite in Watertown, Ma June - August 2026 (start/end dates are flexible)

Responsibilities

  • Embed with the business development team on critical issues related to partnering strategy and transaction related workstreams.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and potential opportunities in therapeutic areas of strategic interest.
  • Support target prioritization and evaluation, including high-level screening of potential partners, technologies, or assets.
  • Assist in due diligence, including data gathering, synthesis, and creation of briefing materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for business development discussions, internal strategy forums, and leadership reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Research, Clinical, Legal, Finance) to support elements of strategic analysis and partnership assessment.
  • Contribute to special projects that may include financial modeling, valuation support, and development of strategic recommendations.
