Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years' previous experience in sales
  • Experience working with CRM Tools for sales and lead management
  • Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel , Power Point) to analyze data and trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.
  • A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated, results oriented, self-driven with a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain sales targets/forecasts for all the company’s offerings
  • Oversee customer facing activities and develops relationships with key decision makers to grow the company sales and profits
  • Track and record all sales activity on current and potential customer opportunities and maintain accurate records
  • Leverage all the available sources of information including customer contact, bid debriefs, trade journals, media (print, broadcast and electronic), to develop business capture strategies
  • Ability to deliver sales that have immediate impact on top line growth while developing longer term growth opportunities
  • Seek out new business opportunities in order to achieve sales goals to include cold calling and lead generation
  • Develop and maintain a complete understanding about keys to success at each current and potential customer for our products
  • Build an understanding into an effective target new accounts while retaining existing accounts
  • Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to expand business and grow revenue
  • Answer phones/emails and book reservations for customers based on availability
  • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries
  • Communicate quotes, bookings and adjustments with operations and dispatch when appropriate
  • Process online reservations and update the system to reflect the new status for each event
