About The Position

Senior Helpers is a leading provider of in-home senior care, dedicated to helping older adults live safely and independently in their homes. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional care and building meaningful relationships with families and healthcare partners throughout our community. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to expand our referral network and help more families access high-quality care. This is a highly visible, high-impact role where your work directly contributes to improving the lives of seniors and growing a thriving healthcare organization. This is not a desk marketing job. The most successful person in this role will be “feet on the street,” building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and becoming a trusted resource in the local senior care community. The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new client referrals through relationship-building with healthcare professionals and community partners. This role involves regular in-person visits to referral sources, presenting our services, managing referral pipelines, and helping families navigate care solutions. Success in this role requires initiative, organization, persistence, and a genuine passion for helping seniors. Ideal candidates may come from: Healthcare sales or business development Medical social work Nursing (RN, LPN) Therapy (PT, OT, SLP) Case management or discharge planning Home health, hospice, or senior living marketing

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales, or clinical healthcare role
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience using CRM systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with key referral sources, including: Hospitals Assisted living and independent living communities Skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities Physicians’ offices Case managers, social workers, and discharge planners
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to referral partners to maintain visibility and strengthen relationships
  • Deliver presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals and community groups
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and industry functions to generate new referral opportunities
  • Maintain and manage referral pipeline using CRM system
  • Track outreach activities, referrals, and conversion metrics
  • Follow up consistently with referral partners and prospective clients
  • Meet or exceed referral and revenue growth goals
  • Represent Senior Helpers as a trusted resource in the healthcare community
  • Educate referral partners on home care services and how we support patient outcomes
  • Help position Senior Helpers as the preferred home care provider in the territory
