We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and grow business within the assigned South Texas region. You bring 3–5 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience and an active, transferable book of business within one or more of the following verticals: Medical & Healthcare Commercial Real Estate & Property Management (office/industrial) Hospitality & Multifamily Insurance, Risk, and Large Loss Adjusters This role is ideal for someone who builds trust quickly, manages a disciplined sales pipeline, and takes full ownership of activity, revenue, and results.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of proven B2B or external field sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience selling into insurance, commercial real estate, healthcare, hospitality, or risk-related industries
  • Understanding of project flow, risk mitigation, and commercial construction or restoration practices
  • Familiarity with EPC, public sector, or environmental health & safety concepts

Responsibilities

  • Strategically execute sales and marketing initiatives based on market research and target accounts
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and expand opportunities within assigned verticals
  • Represent Mooring at trade shows, industry events, and client-facing meetings
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales collateral, promotions, and client events
  • Maintain accurate daily CRM activity, pipeline updates, and reporting
  • Track industry trends, competitive activity, and market intelligence
  • Secure new Master Service Agreements and expand existing client relationships
  • Partner closely with leadership to deliver solutions aligned to client needs
