About The Position

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and revenue or our SaaS products and service products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to expand our market presence. The successful candidate will work on a variety of high-profile projects, facilitate the go-to market strategy for the SaaS product, have daily interaction with customers and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. As a company, we value initiative and discipline.

Requirements

  • Self-starter required (demonstrated through references)
  • CRM experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the SaaS industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to the evolving needs of the role and organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment in-office.
  • Some travel may be required for sales opportunities and client visits

Nice To Haves

  • In-depth knowledge of the Gas Turbine business: 5+ years of experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of power distribution systems and/or heavy industrial equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Automation Systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SaaS industry
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Own, develop and implement the sales strategy in collaboration with marketing
  • Collaborate with Product Manager to develop sales and customer growth strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine offerings and align strategies and integrate initiatives into business strategies
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market feedback
  • Own, develop and implement the CRM system in collaboration with identified stakeholders
