About The Position

As a Business Development Manager at Ed Castro Landscaping, you will identify and secure new client relationships, generate leads, develop sales strategies, and expand the company’s market presence within the landscaping industry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the residential landscaping industry.
  • Strong understanding of landscaping principles, services, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify, pursue, and close opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using CRM systems and business development software; Aspire or similar landscaping software experience is highly preferred.
  • 5–7 years of business development experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively identify potential clients who could benefit from the company’s services.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and goals.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets to identify new opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, participate in community outreach, and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of leads, clients, and sales activities.
  • Track sales performance, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilize Pipedrive and Aspire software to create, track, and manage client estimates, contracts, and job scheduling.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed.
