Under general supervision, identifies opportunities for business expansion, and develops and manages relationships in strategic markets and accounts that further business development activity. Targets and facilitates contact with major prospective customers, in new or existing accounts. Targets, manages and develops sales opportunities. Assists in provides leadership to sales organization in developing strategic opportunities and business relationships. Helps develop and execute corporate selling strategies. After account relationships are properly established, the Business Developer ensures a smooth transition of account management to the appropriate Account Management parties.
