You will: Develops a model in which sales are developed through Harbour to other branches within the region through product and sales training and systems. Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region. Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Develop specific plans to ensure growth, both long and short-term Maintain current knowledge of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Review and revise sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture opportunities. Accomplish regional sales staffing objectives by selecting, recruiting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, and enforcing policies and procedures. Expand customer base by mentoring district sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities. Assist sales personnel in enhancing and refining their techniques: manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and the monthly sales target. Educate the sales team with presentations by providing regular meetings, strategies, and seminars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience (Jan/San and Food Service ideal)
  • Strong verbal, written, and relational communication skills, with the ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels, including customers, senior management, client representatives, and the public.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively / Ability to multitask.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills
