About The Position

This role is a leadership position focused on building and scaling a high-performing business development function within a fully remote, fast-growing environment. You will play a critical role in driving pipeline generation through a disciplined, account-based motion aligned with revenue and marketing strategy. Operating at the center of sales, marketing, and operations, you will translate go-to-market priorities into daily execution. The role combines people leadership, process optimization, and hands-on experimentation. You will coach and develop a distributed team while improving efficiency, data quality, and engagement across the funnel. Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in business development or sales development, preferably within B2B SaaS
  • At least 2 years of experience managing and developing sales or business development teams
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, marketing funnels, buyer personas, and go-to-market strategy
  • Hands-on experience with sales and marketing tools, including workflow implementation and automation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose performance gaps and design scalable solutions
  • Experience running campaign experimentation such as A/B testing of messaging, sequences, and account approaches
  • Excellent communication and project management skills to drive cross-functional alignment
  • Proven ability to align BDR execution with account-based marketing programs across one-to-few and one-to-one models
  • Familiarity with CRM, analytics, and revenue tooling such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small but growing team in a fully remote environment
  • Comfort working remotely using modern collaboration tools and operating systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a fully remote Business Development team to consistently achieve individual and team pipeline goals
  • Translate account-based marketing strategy into daily execution across priority accounts, vertical initiatives, and coordinated campaigns
  • Partner closely with ABM, RevOps, Marketing, and revenue leadership to prioritize accounts, align outreach, and drive consistent engagement
  • Set, track, and report on clear weekly and monthly performance targets across leading and lagging indicators
  • Optimize prospecting effectiveness through experimentation, automation, and continuous improvement of tools and processes
  • Coach representatives on high-quality outreach, discovery, and qualification with a strong focus on personalized, account-aware engagement
  • Build scalable prospecting workflows, research processes, and automation in collaboration with RevOps
  • Create and refine personalized outreach sequences aligned with campaigns, messaging themes, and target account priorities
  • Ensure disciplined process adoption, clean CRM data, and reliable reporting across the team
