About The Position

We're seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager with expertise in the construction and building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and business development with Fortune 500 companies, large commercial developers, and major construction firms. This leadership role requires a dynamic professional with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship management skills. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and solidifying Nexii's position as a leader in the construction industry.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building technologies, LEED, or similar frameworks.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and meet ambitious sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in closing large-scale deals with Fortune 500 companies and major commercial developers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting large commercial clients and Fortune 500 companies.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Act as a senior advisor on construction projects, providing tailored solutions aligned with Nexii's products.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to refine business strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, project management and operations) to ensure alignment and effective project delivery.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, and major partnerships
  • Lead high-level negotiations and close multi-year, high-value contracts.
