The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for business development in the assigned territory of brokers, agents and other distribution partners, focused primarily on products and services associated with Small Commercial and Middle Market. The BDM acts as ambassador for all that company has to offer for a select group of Agents. The BDM is responsible for overall agency relationship management including new client acquisition and client management. Manages and maintains focus on achieving metrics across KPI's, including Gross Written Premium growth, New Business, profit, new agency appointments, and visibility.
