About The Position
Frontier Therapeutics Inc. is a Frontier Medical Group company, focused on the p revention & treatment of pressure injuries. Established in 2018, Frontier Therapeutics understands the impact pressure injuries can have on patients, healthcare professionals and care providers. In the US market alone, 2.5 million hospital patients are affected by pressure damage each year 1 which means improving the implementation of preventative interventions has never been more important. Our well-established range of solutions will simply and effectively support our patients pressure injury prevention strategy. The Business Development Manager - West will have the opportunity to pioneer the Western US region, with an initial focus on the state of Texas and surrounding Southwest states. The goal of this role is to secure new contracts with healthcare systems and rehab hospitals. Products Frontier Therapeutics Products Frontier Therapeutics specializes in pressure injury prevention products. They offer a variety of products, including air-based support surfaces, mattress overlays, wheelchair cushions, heel protection, and more. Their flagship product is their air-based support surface, which is designed to help prevent pressure ulcers.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in pressure injury prevention or a related Medical Device field
- Experience building relationships with nursing administration, wound care physicians, VAC, etc.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare market and reimbursement processes
Nice To Haves
- Startup experience highly preferred
- Experience selling med-surg product lines, surgical safety or wound care highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Secure new contract agreements with rehab hospitals, long-term acute care facilities, and acute care hospitals.
- Support and grow existing business in the Western regions.
- Call on and build realtionships with Nusing Admin, CNO, Nusing Leadership, Wound Continence, WOCN, Value Analysis Committee, etc. (top down approach)
