About The Position

Business Development Manager role within the New Age Electronics Vendor Management organization responsible for new and existing vendor growth with key US retailers. What You'll Do: Works with vendors and customer accounts of moderate complexity under some supervision. Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment with the agreed plan. Take vendor product offerings to key customers. Drive sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification and on-boarding and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results. Drives sales of specific vendors/ projects when specific knowledge is required on an account. Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share with key vendors. Positive relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”. Responsible for increasing both vendor revenue and profitability. Works in collaboration with vendor. Full knowledge of assigned product/service line. Key customer engagement. Vendor operational, sales and marketing team engagement. Executing vendor initiatives and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) on assigned vendor's brand, technology solutions, and program offerings for our customers. Typically works with a cross-section of large and/or prominent accounts with several changing variables and complexity. Creating reports and presentations and delivering group and management presentations at customer sites. Proactively developing new ways of uncovering business opportunities and incorporating the vendor's full product line, as well as adjacent technologies, to create meaningful offerings. Able to speak to the customer on TD SYNNEX value propositions. Identifying and creating opportunity demand for products, coordinating training, and resource awareness for assigned customers to drive growth. Performing analysis and reporting results of various program impact for identified customers, communicating success, issues, and future growth plan strategies to Sales and Vendor Management. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors, technology, and customers in the assigned supplier product market. Expert knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line and understanding of TD SYNNEX strategic sales pillars and associated value offerings so that they are sold into the territory.

Requirements

  • 5 years sales or product manager experience with a consumer electronics vendor or buyer experience with a consumer electronics retailer.
  • Hybrid Long Beach office/remote/work-from-home capability.
  • Thorough knowledge of the consumer electronics industry.
  • Ability to deliver strategic vendor solutions and identify new partners.
  • Established relationships with key vendor and or retailer contacts.
  • Proficient in communication, negotiation, and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
  • Comfortable with technology and basic office tasks.
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally work non-standard hours.
