What You'll Do: Our Business Development Team is dedicated to engaging pharmaceutical customers, ensuring their critical needs are understood and addressed through SkyCell's solutions. While the primary focus is on building trusted relationships with pharma clients and driving account growth, success requires close coordination with our Technical Sales experts and collaboration with Airline and Freight Forwarder Sales teams. Together, we align SkyCell's unique capabilities with customer requirements - from identifying opportunities to supporting solution design, negotiations, and closing. By staying connected to end-customer insights and leveraging our partner ecosystem, we convert opportunities into long-term value for clients and SkyCell alike.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead (Project Lead) or support (Project Team Member) the development and execution of account acquisition and growth plans, focusing on meeting quotas, expanding relationships and deepening engagement with nominated accounts.
  • Owning customer success and satisfaction, monitor issues, and ensure timely resolution to maintain strong account performance.
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for account expansion, collaborating with project and cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead or support deal negotiations and closings to ensure alignment with both client and SkyCell's strategic goals.
  • Actively driving customer satisfaction and growth by understanding clients' needs, presenting updates and insights, collecting feedback, resolving issues and mitigating retention risks.
  • Depending on the project, either managing or assisting in their territories with the account plan, forecasting, implementation and performance analysis. Coordinating project teams to ensure revenue growth, customer satisfaction and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborating with marketing, finance, operations, and other teams to allocate resources effectively and meet project goals, ensuring that operational needs are met for lane implementation.
  • Being a brand ambassador and enhancing SkyCell's market visibility by organizing events, conducting demos, leading forums, and participating in customer meetings and events that reinforce SkyCell's reputation in sustainable, innovative logistics.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with end customers (pharma shippers), freight forwarders, and airlines, ensuring their needs align with SkyCell's offerings.
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy of the reporting of client interactions and progress in our systems.
