About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Lead Generation Coordinator to join our Sales & Business Development team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers—generating qualified leads, identifying key decision-makers, and helping position SDMyers as the preferred solutions provider for electric power system reliability. Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or related field).
  • Experience in lead generation, inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and questioning abilities to identify customer needs.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a high level of daily activity.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and reliability in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and online outreach.
  • Research and identify new target markets, prospects, and key decision-makers.
  • Reconnect with former and inactive customers to reestablish relationships.
  • Develop and execute creative campaigns to boost engagement during slower seasons.
  • Manage and respond to live chat inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to qualify and hand off leads, track progress, and analyze results.
  • Maintain accurate and updated information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Analyze campaign data and provide feedback on marketing and prospecting effectiveness.
  • Prioritize activities to maximize results and identify high-potential prospects.
