About The Position

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual as a Business Development (BD) Integration Lead to support the BD Group at the IMS Corporate Office located in Huntsville, AL. Individuals must be detail-oriented, highly motivated, a self-starter able to manage tight deadlines and multi-task on multiple efforts simultaneously. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development, this role supports high-priority BD and capture efforts, with an emphasis on identifying and capturing Prime contracts, navigating the federal government plus-up process, supporting proposal activities, and facilitating the integration of business development personnel from newly merged or acquired organizations. The BD Integration Lead will conduct structured interviews with technical SMEs to extract solution concepts, discriminators, and execution approaches, translating complex engineering detail into clear, compliant, and compelling proposal narratives. This position is located at IMS Corporate Office in Research Park.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting federal business development, capture management, or proposal efforts, preferably within the DoD services market.
  • Experience working proposals is required.
  • Familiarity with DoD budgeting and appropriations processes, including unfunded requirements and plus-ups.
  • Strong working knowledge of O365 and other related computer software and electronic communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with corporate leadership on proposal development and processes, documentation development and improvement, and other duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with capture managers and BD leadership to develop capture strategies, competitive assessments, and win themes for priority opportunities.
  • Support efforts related to the federal government plus-up process, including identification of funding opportunities tied to congressional adds.
  • Coordinate with BD, Program Management, and external stakeholders to track plus-up activities and align them with company offerings and growth objectives.
  • Assist leadership in preparing briefings, talking points, and supporting materials related to plus-up initiatives.
  • Support proposal activities across the lifecycle, including pre-RFP planning, proposal strategy development, color team support, and post-submission activities.
  • Coordinate with proposal managers, capture teams, and subject matter experts to ensure alignment between capture strategy and proposal execution.
  • Organize, track, and communicate proposal requirements to cross-functional teams assigned to work proposal efforts; prepare and manage proposal schedules, data calls, writing assignments and required follow-up.
  • Assist proposal stakeholders in weaving opportunity strategies, solutions, themes, and discriminators into proposal responses.
  • Manage the continual monitoring of available websites for upcoming opportunities.
  • Research companies during business development capture phase to determine team strategy.
  • Manage, modify, improve the pipeline management database and proposal repository.
  • Develop, maintain, present new business development tools and capability briefs to industry partners and potential new Government Customers.
  • Attend meetings as required; assist with business development IPT meetings and training for all employees.
