About The Position

As a Business Development Executive II , you’ll lead strategic growth initiatives by building executive-level relationships and driving large-scale opportunities through RFPs and innovative proposals. Requirements

  • Experience: 6–8 years in sales, preferably within public sector or complex enterprise environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of technology solutions and vendor products; ability to identify whitespace and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Relationships: Established connections with key vendor contacts and executive stakeholders.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and collaboration abilities; strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Mindset: Independent, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with productivity tools and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and occasionally work non-standard hours; remote/work-from-home capability.

Responsibilities

  • Own a strategic national account with complex variables and significant financial impact, managing high-value opportunities that drive company growth.
  • Lead capture strategies for major RFPs and unsolicited proposals, aligning customer priorities with TD SYNNEX’s value propositions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across multiple vendor technologies and TD SYNNEX programs, crafting end-to-end solutions that meet evolving public sector needs.
  • Develop innovative approaches to uncover new business opportunities, leveraging vendor portfolios and adjacent technologies.
  • Deliver executive-ready presentations and reports at customer sites and virtually, showcasing insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Create demand and engagement through seminars, training sessions, and resource-awareness initiatives for assigned customers.
  • Analyze program performance and communicate results, risks, and growth strategies to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and technology advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Travel monthly to partner sites while working effectively in a remote environment.
