Business Development Director – Integrated Cloud Solutions Location Preference: Any Major RSM Market Position Summary : Within the National Sales Organization, the Business Development Director will be responsible for driving growth for the firm's Integrated Cloud (IC) Consulting practice. In order to address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the Integrated Cloud Consulting (IC) practice, comprised of more than 300 professionals dedicated to serving the cloud and infrastructure platform needs of our clients. This group includes experienced consultants located throughout the globe. We serve a diverse client base within a variety of industries and are focused on meeting our clients where they need us most across a variety of domains - helping them realize their stated outcomes through our cloud advisory, implementation and operations. The Business Development Director drives revenue by selling RSM’s portfolio of offerings for cloud-based infrastructure (IaaS), platforms (PaaS), and software (SaaS) solutions to businesses. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of navigating a prospect through a value-based cloud strategy discussion (cloud advisory, enablement, and operation to steady state) that positions RSM’s solutions in the best competitive outcome. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of the sales process, including systematic prospect targeting, development of opportunity-specific sales strategy, and selection of pursuit teams and "quarterbacking" the entire sales process. This individual will build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated to substantiated opportunities, prepare and facilitate presentations/proposals as well as close sales and finalize agreements with customers. The Business Development Director will work closely with the firm’s Risk Consulting and Integrated Cloud Services line of business leaders in growth efforts through direct prospecting, networking, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations. The individual in this position will have all the necessary resources to be set up for success for this career opportunity that provides a competitive base salary along with a lucrative, uncapped incentive compensation plan. We are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record in selling professional services.
