About The Position

If so, join Care Initiatives as a Community Representative, where you will provide comprehensive care that truly matters. With over forty (40) skilled nursing communities, seven (7) hospice offices (and growing!), plus our own internal staffing agency, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support at every stage of the healthcare journey. As a Community Representative on our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and demonstrate your compassion, positively influencing the lives of our residents and team members. This role will be covering our Cedar Falls and Waterloo market and must live in that territory.

Requirements

2-3 years of proven success in healthcare marketing and/or sales.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care, highly preferred.
Active RN license (or ability to activate), preferred.
An understanding of the continuum of care and the admissions process, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements a marketing plan primarily designed to meet the needs of professional referral partners in long-term care.
Leads efforts in establishing broader community engagement.
Completes marketing calls; maintains record keeping system on marketing activities, including documenting referrals in the clinical record.
Develops implements and evaluates initiatives designed to promote awareness and understanding of Care Initiatives' programs and services in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
