About The Position

Immediate Start: Part-time (~10 hours/week); Summer: Full-time (~30 hours/week); Fall: Part-time (flexible) This is not your average "coffee-run" internship. Working directly with senior management, you will be given real ownership of our public-facing platforms and business development infrastructure. You will learn the "how-to" of federal and commercial business development while earning a competitive wage.

Requirements

  • You are working towards a degree in Communications, Business or other similar field
  • You have an interest in supporting a Veteran-owned business and understand the value of discipline and professional initiative.
  • You want an internship where you can make meaningful contributions and expand your knowledge of the government contracting industry at a leading technology company.
  • You have a knack for writing professional, engaging content and aren't afraid to pick up the phone or send a networking email.
  • You can manage a complex calendar without letting important deadlines slip through the cracks.
  • You are able to design social media and website content that engages the viewer and is consistent with the CPT brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the corporate BD calendar, including tracking industry symposiums, government contracting events, and networking opportunities to ensure the leadership team is positioned in the right rooms.
  • Lead the refresh and update of the corporate website. You will coordinate content, imagery, and messaging to ensure our digital footprint matches our high standards of service.
  • Develop and execute a consistent social media strategy (primarily LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness and engagement within the industry.
  • Assist the leadership team with administrative tasks, research projects, and proposal support as needed.
