Business Development Center (BDC) Manager – Bell Ford Location: Phoenix, AZ Department: Business Development Center Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Salary + Commission Bell Ford is seeking an experienced Business Development Center (BDC) Manager to lead and grow our highperforming team. This is not a telemarketing role —our BDC team engages customers, builds meaningful relationships, and supports them throughout their vehiclebuying journey. Requirements

  • Customer service phone experience required
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent conversational and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, friendly environment
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts—including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage high-volume phone and digital communication
  • Proficiency in using multiple software applications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • All candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage BDC staff
  • Drive the growth and development of the BDC department
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales Managers on strategy and process improvements
  • Analyze and respond to all inbound leads while engaging with customers
  • Answer incoming calls using inbound scripts to schedule appointments
  • Document all customer interactions and comments in the CRM
  • Respond promptly to internet leads (within 10 minutes) and follow up by phone
  • Make outbound calls using scripts to schedule sales appointments
  • Maintain accurate scheduling for customer follow-up
  • Re-schedule appointments for noshow customers
  • Generate timely emails and calls according to contact timelines
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of new and used vehicle inventory
  • Escalate customer concerns to BDC Manager and ensure followup
