Job Description Assist in the development and sale of Capital Equipment for Dornier MedTech to Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, VA and DOD Facilities, physicians, and providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university preferred, ideally in business, marketing, communications, or life science.
  • 5 to 7 years of outside sales B2B experience.
  • Frequent travel is required (75% or more)
  • Travel for extended periods of time and/or various lengths
  • Typical work-related travel will be a range of 1-3 days per week.
  • Overnight and out-of-town stays are required.
  • Airline Travel is required
  • Work from home when not traveling.
  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and networking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 3 years Medical Device / Capital Equipment sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up customer visits to observe capital equipment being used and discuss various aspects of equipment use and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes pricing and various financial options and communicates with operations to help prepare sales contracts.
  • Collaborate with Dornier Territory Managers, Associate Managers, and Service managers in a daily / weekly basis.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on prospective customers regarding capital budget timelines, project status updates, room measurements, and overall status updates.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from cold calling, telemarketing leads, trade show responses, business directories, and other sources.
  • Strong Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and over email with people outside of the organization on daily basis that are located within Hospitals, Doctor’s offices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, VA Facilities, and DOD Facilities.
  • Strong Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and via email with people inside of the organization on daily basis.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense account up to date.
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining salesforce activities and opportunities.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Business Development Manager
