Business Development Associate/Sales
About The Position
1-800-Packouts helps homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, mold, and other property damage by packing, cleaning, storing, and returning their belongings. We’re hiring a Business Development Associate to help grow our referral network by building relationships with insurance professionals, contractors, and property managers in our community. You May Be a Great Fit If You Enjoy meeting new people and building professional relationships Are confident in introducing yourself and representing a company in the community Stay organized while managing outreach, follow-ups, and partner relationships Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with networking, relationship building, and business outreach
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners such as insurance agents, adjusters, restoration industry professionals, property managers, and contractors
- Conduct in-person visits to local businesses and referral partners
- Represent the company at networking events and community functions
- Schedule and support marketing visits and presentations
- Maintain CRM records and track referral partner activity
- Support marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Report activity and results to leadership
