About The Position

In the role of B2B Business Development and Sales, your job is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build trust with our customers. Requirements

  • One to two years of business development/sales experience
  • Comfortable in B-to-B sales and customer interfacing roles, including cold calls
  • Goal-oriented, energetic and a self-starter
  • At least 25 years of age, licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
  • Professional, caring. humble and service minded
  • Willing to work in a metrics-based, process-driven business development team

Nice To Haves

  • General working knowledge of multi-family units/property and/or construction industry
  • Experience using CRM tools and process

Responsibilities

  • Meet with 12-15 customers a day
  • On-site visits, phone calls and email follow-ups
  • Visiting customers in a variety of industries including Property Management, Hotels and New Construction Projects
  • Maintaining and expanding existing Customer Relationships
  • Educating customers on Surface Expert’s capabilities
  • Enjoys working with people
  • Validating level of customer satisfaction and opportunities to improve
  • Earning the Trust of Customers
  • Embracing sales scripts and role-playing with marketing and sales professionals
  • Documenting sales activities in CRM; from lead generation to work order completion and steps in-between
  • Reporting on customer visits accurately and timely
  • Brainstorming to find new leads and opportunities
