The Business Development Administrator supports private market strategy, business development activities, executive administration, and project coordination. Working directly with the Chief Strategy Officer / Managing Director, Private Markets, this role ensures smooth execution of strategic priorities, client engagement, and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent).
  • 2–5 years in business development, project coordination, or executive support.
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; CRM experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in architecture, real estate, consulting, private markets, or professional services.
  • Experience supporting senior executives or strategy teams.
  • Skill in creating polished presentations (PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe).

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the CSO/Managing Director.
  • Track strategic initiatives, prepare updates, and coordinate follow-ups.
  • Conduct research and create briefing materials, presentations, and summaries.
  • Manage schedules, travel, meetings, and executive communications.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Support business development strategies and private market initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitive research; compile insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain CRM data, track pipeline activity, and prepare reports.
  • Assist with client outreach, meeting prep, and follow-up.
  • Prepare marketing materials, pitch decks, and presentations.
  • Coordinate conference and event logistics.
  • Assist with RFQ/RFP/LOI preparation and submission.
  • Manage proposal schedules, inputs, formatting, and compliance.
  • Support project setup, deliverable tracking, and internal coordination.
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, and partners.
  • Assist with administrative and vendor documentation.
  • Maintain organized digital files and systems.
