About The Position

Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services and our team is focused on delivering high quality infrastructure to support cloud operations. As Microsoft’s Cloud business continues to mature, our infrastructure expansion accelerates, and Data Centers are central to this growth. To support this, the acquisition and development of our owned, designed and constructed Data Center facilities will scale to meet the demands of our customers, while we also continue to lease and acquire Data Center capacity at pace, particularly in our high growth markets, working closely with Data Center operators in each region, and across the Globe. Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Business Administrator to provide support to CO+I Engineering and their teams. This role will take on a variety of tasks while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have reliable organizational and communication skills; be able to proactively anticipate needs and shift priorities quickly; be self-motivated, self-aware, and have the ability to balance a sense of humor with a sense of responsibility. Candidates should appreciate an energetic work environment and have a sense of urgency for key deliverables, be deliberate and forward-thinking in how they approaches challenges, and operate administratively at scale. Requirements

  • 2+ years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience.
  • Background Check Requirements:
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years administrative, business support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.
  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
