The Commercial Product Infrastructure (CPI) Finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. The CPI Finance team is seeking an experienced Business Administrator to provide support for the GM (General Manager) of the Resource Investment Strategy Team, the GM of E+D (Experiences + Devices) Finance for Engineering as well as the GM of C+AI (Cloud + AI) Finance, and their global teams. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, self-aware, and has the ability balance a sense of humor with a sense of responsibility. They need strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to proactively anticipate needs and quickly shift priorities accordingly. The ideal candidates should appreciate an energetic work environment, have a sense of urgency and approach challenges with a problem solver mindset.

Requirements

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.
  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
  • Proven excellence in administrative skills and functions
  • Ability to interface at the exec-level with internal and external customers and partners
  • High level of professionalism
  • Proven planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated customer service focus
  • Comfortable operating within ambiguity
  • Proven ability to rapidly change direction to accommodate business need
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software and internal tools

Responsibilities

  • Complex calendar management for 3 GM's
  • Complex and frequently changing travel logistics and expense reporting
  • Teams and OneNote creation/management
  • Procurement and management of supplies, hardware and assets
  • End to end new employee set up/ onboarding
  • Equipment management
  • Headcount management tools
  • Facility requests
  • Create and maintain org charts
  • Maintain DLs and SGs as needed
  • Ensure compliance of operational policies and procedures
  • Coordinate other projects as assigned
  • Morale event planning and organization
  • Ability to responsibly work with highly confidential data
