As a Business Continuity Lead within PNC's Business Resiliency Test & Exercise Organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Strongsville, OH or Birmingham, AL. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. As a Business Continuity Lead, you will develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of PNC’s Business Resiliency Training Program as part of the Business Resiliency Test & Exercise organization. As the Business Continuity Lead, you will work closely across the Business Resilience, Enterprise Event Management teams, as well as Line of Business and Support Area stakeholders in the development of a comprehensive and mature training program.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience planning, designing, and executing training within a Business Resiliency, Risk Management, Continuity of Operations, or Emergency Management program.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design and training management best practices.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory guidelines within the Financial Services sector.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Leads in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversees testing, emergency response, and recovery.
  • Informs in the selection of operating strategies for the continuation of the business within a recovery time objective.
  • Leads business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning.

  • Conducts, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis.
  • Identifies and quantifies the potential impact of various disruptions and disaster scenarios.
  • Interfaces with LOB committee/executive to report on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results.
  • May lead relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
  • Responsible for leading high profile initiatives through the development, enhancement and dissemination of continuity processes and standards.
  • Develops and delivers the training on business continuity.
