About The Position

What’s Next is a premier business coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping financial advisors, business owners, and organizations achieve measurable growth and sustainable success. We are seeking a Business Coach to join our team — someone who brings both business acumen and coaching excellence to empower our clients to perform at their best. This role combines hands-on coaching, business strategy, and firm-building initiatives. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial professional with a proven ability to drive measurable outcomes through coaching, mentorship, and operational insight.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of business experience, with at least 3 years in coaching, consulting, or leadership development (financial services preferred).
  • Strong understanding of business operations, advisor practices, and organizational performance metrics.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in performance or profitability.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Coach advisors, business owners, and organizations to achieve defined goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one and group coaching sessions.
  • Participate in client meetings, including with other professional partners, when appropriate.
  • Create and maintain individualized client roadmaps using What’s Next tools such as ActiFi.
  • Support clients in goal tracking, data input, and performance assessments.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes that drive ROI in leadership, productivity, and business growth.
  • Prospect for and onboard new coaching clients through proactive outreach and relationship development.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to represent What’s Next.
  • Contribute to the design, promotion, and execution of webinars, marketing campaigns, and other growth initiatives.
  • Manage and enhance program offerings, including workshop design, attendee recruitment, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Lead select firm programs and specialized business development series.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to build and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Design and assist with marketing materials, presentations, and social media campaigns.
  • Help create tools, assessments, and other resources to support business acquisition and coaching efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal systems, processes, and client experience.
