The Vermont Department of Health Laboratory is looking for a highly motivated person to join our Information Systems support team to help with the technical support for our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and the Lab Web Portal (LWP). Major job duties: Troubleshoot user issues, determine appropriate action for resolution and follow-through. Identify and provide training for LIMS and LWP users as needed. Assist in gathering and documenting requirements for new system functionality. Assist with user acceptance testing. Configure and/or run LIMS queries to respond to laboratory test data requests from laboratory or departmental staff, and other partners. Job duties involve collaboration with Lab and VDH IT staff and contractors, as well as state and federal partners.
