This Business and Process Analyst role is a new or recent graduate opportunity within BMO Financial Group's Data Analytics & Reporting Job Family Group. The position focuses on supporting the execution of accurate and efficient reporting solutions for risk, regulatory, and management information, catering to both internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies. The analyst will contribute to an efficient and effective risk management function by leveraging common information sources and practices, aiming to reduce ongoing costs, enhance service level performance, and minimize risk. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions to meet management and regulatory requirements, providing guidance on analytical and reporting solutions, and ensuring timely and accurate service for scheduled reporting processes. The role also involves supporting the maintenance and measurement of key risk indicators, analyzing data for risk-related insights and recommendations, and interpreting internal and external policies and regulatory requirements. The analyst will work with various data owners to identify and select appropriate data sources, ensure strong governance and effective controls across risk reporting activities, and analyze data for significant information like variances and trends. Additionally, the position supports internal and external audits, prepares regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards, and contributes to strategic initiatives.
