About The Position

We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst with a blend of quantitative skills and curiosity for market dynamics, capable of turning complex data into actionable strategies for business growth. This role requires strong experience in business case analysis, KPI design, ROI reporting, and hands-on work with data warehouses and BI tools. You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field
  • At least 2+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or similar), or a high-growth technology startup
  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or a similar role
  • Strong SQL experience and hands-on work with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or automation scripting (e.g., Python, VBA, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar), creating KPIs, dashboards, and executive-ready reports
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics, ROI analysis, and business performance measurement
  • Self-starter with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth analyses of merchant metrics, including Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), churn rates, and cohort performance, using SQL queries and statistical methods to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Develop Excel-based forecasting models for business growth, revenue projections, and market penetration, incorporating external factors like competitive landscapes and economic indicators.
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for merchant acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate business hypotheses into analytical and modeling requirements.
  • Support the development of business cases and planning for strategic initiatives.
  • Be a steward of data integrity across all data sources.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, VBA or Python code, to pull data from data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake or similar).
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
