About The Position

CGI is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst who is passionate about solving challenging client problems. As a CGI Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting project management and business process optimization efforts. You will work closely with the client and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will be joining the International Affairs (IAF) group to support the mission of U.S. security, economic well-being, and worldwide relations. Working with various clients in the US federal space, IAF supports missions that foster national security, foreign relations and resilient democratic societies. Since 1976, CGI has partnered with the U.S. federal government to support a wide variety of organizations and unique missions building solutions that support clients around the world This position is located in our El Paso, TX office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proficient with Camtasia video software, Adobe Captivate or equivalent
  • Proficient with process mapping software such as Microsoft Visio
  • Experience in government functions such as federal acquisition or financial management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes
  • Support the development and implementation of process optimization strategies
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to facilitate project discussions and decision-making
  • Provide administrative support to project teams as needed
  • Lead client meetings to provide relevant project updates
  • Document meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on action items
  • Organize and maintain project documentation for easy access and reference
  • Assist in agile project management activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
