About The Position

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting commercial and financial operations by developing accurate and strategic customer quotes, maintaining forecasts, and providing timely business insights. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple pricing and operational inputs, and a solid understanding of overall business strategy to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Data Analytics or similar field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple inputs and competing deadlines.
  • Experience with pricing, quoting, forecasting, or financial analysis processes.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and support strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with commercial and finance teams.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial business environment preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with margin analysis, cost drivers, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience supporting forecasting processes.
  • Epicor experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build customer quotes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring responsiveness to business and customer needs.
  • Strategically develop quotes by balancing multiple inputs, including tariffs, fast-track requirements, purchase order pricing, target pricing, target margins, and the overall importance of the quote to the business.
  • Establish and validate lead times to support accurate quoting and customer commitments.
  • Maintain and manage sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with current business conditions and strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain inside sales reports and support quarterly forecasting processes for North America.
  • Run the monthly flash process, developing a clear understanding of in-month performance and variances, and linking results to the overall forecast.
  • Analyze business performance and trends to support leadership decision-making.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company’s business strategy and ensure analytical outputs align with strategic priorities.
  • Provide a variety of reports, analyses, and supporting documents to commercial and finance teams to aid pricing, forecasting, and planning activities.
