About The Position

The Client Service Business Analyst – Program Client Services will provide strategic business analysis services to Program Services (Program Analyst-Accounting/Finance). This role is responsible for understanding business objectives, operational workflows, and client service needs to identify opportunities for process improvement, system efficiencies, and enhanced service delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business strategies and requirements into actionable solutions that improve operational effectiveness and support overall organizational performance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to recognize inconsistencies and assess reasonableness
  • Ability to lead projects and build cross-departmental relationships
  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to thrive in fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously and complete those projects with little supervision
  • Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, motivation, enthusiasm and patience
  • Thrive in and foster a highly collaborative work environment is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present findings and communicate key concepts to senior management
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 – 5 years data analysis experience preferred
  • General knowledge of the insurance industry helpful

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reviewing submissions from the brokerage community/market
  • Assist with quotes, submissions, policy issuance and endorsements workflow
  • Review underwriting guidelines on submissions and escalate issues accordingly
  • Issue binders/slips and invoices
  • Monitor facultative and treaty reinsurance contracts to ensure timely and accurate settlements of monies owed
  • Reconcile cash balances monthly, researching and clearing discrepancies
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure premiums are recorded, collected and settled
  • File setup and maintenance of the submissions received
  • Support claims administration activities including funding coordination, invoice validation, and financial reconciliation in partnership with claims stakeholders
  • Prepare presentations and reports on an on-going basis
  • Assist in the facilitation of internal and external audits by coordinating documentation, tracking requests, and supporting timely responses
  • Perform financial reconciliations across premiums, claims, and reinsurance activity to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, audit, accounting, and brokers to support efficient program execution and process improvement
  • Ad hoc reinsurance projects as needed
