Depuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Business Analyst to form part of the VELYSTM Enabling Tech (V-ET) Supply Chain team, reporting to the SI&D Lead, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Bridgewater, NJ, or Raynham, MA. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. The Business Analyst is responsible for executing defined digital and data initiatives aligned to the V-ET Supply Chain strategy. This role converts business needs into analytics, dashboards, and digital solutions while supporting portfolio execution, value tracking, and adoption of standardized insights across the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in Data Analytics, Digital, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive business experience in analytics, digital, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience developing data visualizations and analytical models that inform business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and geographies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear analytical insights and solution requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulated or highly complex operational environments.
  • Exposure to agile or digital product delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with value tracking, ROI measurement, or business case development.
  • Global business experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute defined elements of the V-ET Supply Chain Digital and Data Strategy under the guidance of V-ET SC leadership.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Partner with business owners to define problem statements, success metrics, and value hypotheses for digital initiatives.
  • Support digital portfolio execution, including status tracking, value measurement, and preparation of governance materials.
  • Collaborate with IT and digital teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Support data mapping, data quality, and data source identification activities.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through analysis of operational and supply chain data.
  • Contribute to change management activities to drive adoption of standardized analytics, logic, and digital solutions.
  • Support digital acumen and capability-building initiatives across the supply chain organization.
