About The Position

The Business Analyst will serve as a vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing, and deployment tasks of our software product’s features supporting the Wealth offering. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments to understand business requirements, develop effective solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions in meeting business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • 3+ years of prior experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, proficient in articulating complex ideas.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams across the business.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative and pragmatic approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and familiarity with programming/scripting languages like Python or R is advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with SQL and experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in finance technology with a deep understanding of related regulatory and compliance requirements preferred.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum work environment highly preferred.
  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze complex data streams and translate them into actionable insights. Develop and utilize dashboards effectively.
  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit, capture, analyze and document business, functional, and technical requirements. Conduct requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and focus groups to gather inputs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, suggesting changes to streamline operations and enhance services.
  • Project Management: Oversee project efforts, coordinating teams, managing timelines, and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
  • Solution Assessment and Validation: Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and ensure their needs are being met.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and work proactively to mitigate them.
