As a Business Analyst Senior within PNC's Retail Banking Operations- Business Information Management team, you will be based in Denver, Colorado. The scope of Retail Bank Operations is impressively broad and encompasses a wide range of critical functions. These include managing the cash needs for our branch and ATM networks, printing and mailing important bank documents, and handling both inbound and outbound collections for home lending, automobile, and card services. Additionally, Retail Bank Operations focuses on loan mitigation and investor operations, developing process improvement and automation opportunities, overseeing the daily processing of cash and check deposits, bill payments, and executes strategic quality management functions. The following skill sets and experience are required: Technical and Analytical Skills Advanced Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights. Business Process Modeling: Experience in mapping, analyzing, and improving business processes using standard modeling techniques. Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements from stakeholders. Reporting Tools: Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. SQL and Data Querying: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Project Management: Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and experience working in project teams. Business Acumen Financial Services Knowledge: Understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements. Experience in supporting these account types, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring operational accuracy is highly valued. Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and industry best practices for both IRA and 529 accounts is preferred. Communication and Interpersonal Skills Stakeholder Management: Experience interacting with business leaders, technical teams, and end users to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes. Presentation Skills: Ability to present findings, proposals, and reports clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Documentation: Skill in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Additional Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Certifications: Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), or equivalent are often preferred. Experience: Several years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Responsibilities

  • Directs in the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements, and participates in the development and review of processes and procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting.
  • Provides consultation to clients on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project management.
  • Develops and maintains of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
  • Independently obtains and identifies the business requirements needed to carry out and improve applicable business processes.
  • Provides expertise and problem-solving for clients and technology teams throughout the business analysis process.
  • Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs.
  • May communicate with stakeholders and technology teams on moderately complex business requirements, provides gap analysis and facilitates future business process modeling for clients.
