About The Position
As an IT Business Analyst, you will work with an Agile team to develop digital products for clients' missions. The role involves propelling business analytics and processes forward, delving into technology trends, and delivering user-friendly client experiences. You will develop leading-edge solutions within the cloud-based Life Cycle Management Process-Integrated Data Environment (LCMP-IDE). Working with a team of requirements analysts, designers, developers, and testers, and alongside experienced business analysts, you will identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You will clearly understand overall direction and nuanced user needs, guiding your team to fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. The goal is to deliver high business value products to support the Air Force and modernize management weapons systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or process improvement practitioner
- Experience using Microsoft Products, including Visio and PowerPoint
- Experience with data visualization, such as process maps and frameworks
- Ability to conduct research and evaluate options for action
- Ability to independently assess existing system functionality, including user experience and data relationships
- Ability to present concepts, including verbal or written, to varied audiences using logical and persuasive language
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience performing root cause analyses or supporting rapid process improvement events
- Experience creating tickets and developing queries in Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of nuclear compatibility, surety, or operational processes
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of Air Force Instructions and Manuals
- Ability to work confidently with and present to senior ranking officials
- Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor's Degree
