About The Position

TRATON R&D has a great opportunity for a Lead Business Analyst! As a Lead Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between business and IT. You are responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into solution requirements, and ensuring that the delivered systems, processes, and tools create real value for the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of business analyst experience
  • OR
  • Master's degree and at least 1 year of business analyst experience
  • OR
  • At least 5 years of business analyst experience
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in business analysis, requirements management, or process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of service market business operations and technical systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or process modeling standards (e.g., BPMN) is a plus.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand business processes, needs, and challenges within the organization.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that drive process efficiency and business value.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other partners.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance of new or modified systems.
  • Support change management and adoption during the implementation of new solutions.
  • Develop and maintain process maps, models, and related documentation.
