The Planning Services Development & Solutions group plays a vital role in ensuring New England’s power system can meet future energy and resource adequacy needs reliably, efficiently, and cost‑effectively. As the grid evolves in response to decarbonization goals, public policy, emerging technologies, and shifting demand, the team leads the development of advanced analytical tools, modeling frameworks, and market design solutions that support a clean and resilient energy future. In this role, you will contribute to high‑visibility research and modeling initiatives that inform system planning and market decisions. Working within a small, high‑performing team and alongside a broad set of stakeholders, you will deliver rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations to strengthen resource capacity and energy adequacy modeling, demand forecasting, supply accreditation, and long‑term system projections—requiring both technical precision and clear, compelling communication.
