About The Position

As the Business Analyst I, you will support budget planning, financial tracking, and contractual activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain hands-on experience in business operations, financial analysis, and contract management within a dynamic environment. In this role, you will work closely with leadership to support day-to-day business operations related to budgeting and contracts. You’ll assist in tracking financial performance, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal processes. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to learn.

Requirements

  • Top Secret SCI clearance with CI Poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, finance, or contracts (internship experience is a plus)
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and tracking program budgets
  • Support financial reporting, including budget status reports and variance analysis
  • Help monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets/funding
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts, task orders, and modifications
  • Track contract deliverables, milestones, and periods of performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams (finance, contracts, program management) to support program execution
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial and contractual records
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in documenting standard operating procedures
  • Conduct basic data analysis to support decision-making
  • Perform ad hoc administrative and analytical tasks as needed
  • Assist where needed to keep the overall program successful
