About The Position

We are seeking a Business Analyst – Advanced to support healthcare and Medicaid projects. The role involves analyzing business needs, documenting processes, and providing technical and non-technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in government IT or healthcare projects as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years’ experience documenting business rules, processes, and requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in Medicaid or healthcare projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of business modeling techniques and process documentation
• Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

Nice To Haves

• Subject Matter Expertise in Medicaid or healthcare insurance operations
• Microsoft Project / Project Server
• Microsoft DevOps

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT to deliver solutions that meet user needs
• Analyze operations to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Document business processes, requirements, and data relationships
• Translate high-level business needs into functional specifications
• Support requirements management, including change control and tracking
• Provide guidance to technical and testing teams on business requirements
• Identify risks and propose actionable solutions
• Collaborate with vendors, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain business rules, requirements, and models in a repository
