You will be the vital link between our technology team and the business/operations groups, translating complex needs into actionable solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining requirements, managing project execution, and ensuring the delivery of business-critical technology solutions for our asset management business (which manages over $23 billion in strategies). Requirements

  • Experience: 7–10+ years of experience in business analysis and project management, specifically within the asset management, investment management, or financial services industries.
  • Technical Acumen: Hands-on expertise with program management tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Analytical Skill: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proven track record of simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise, executive-ready materials.
  • Execution: High attention to detail, commitment to delivery excellence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mindset: Operates with a strong sense of ownership, humility, long-term thinking, and a disciplined focus on measurable outcomes (ROI) and continuous improvement.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics, Technology) required; advanced degree (MBA, Masters, or related field) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead technology projects from initiation through closure, covering scoping, planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
  • Requirements Elicitation: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, translating complex needs into clear functional and technical specifications for software engineers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and expectations across business, operations, and technology teams, facilitating productive workshops and working groups.
  • Agile Coordination: Develop and manage the technology teams' backlog and sprint planning using tools like Jira, ensuring alignment with a prioritized roadmap.
  • Risk & Reporting: Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, formulating effective mitigation strategies and reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Management: Drive high standards of documentation and serve as the guardian of knowledge and information using centralized tools like Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Process Improvement: Foster a culture of disciplined execution, transparency, and alignment to drive measurable outcomes and long-term impact.
