Partners at all levels of the organization to develop, implement, and execute an organization-wide IT strategy that optimizes employee capabilities, achieves the organization's strategic objectives, and delivers competitive advantage. This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month. Identify and manage stakeholders up to and including management level, finding out their needs, issues, and concerns and reacting to them by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy.
Participate in the development of corporate strategy for a small local organization, applying functional expertise to test the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas and insights to support the strategy formation process
Effective in managing and leading a virtual team across functional area or department. Focus is on a specific smaller area of the organization, such as a sub-function or division. May involve preparation of presentations and materials for professional partnering meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these tenets and do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.

Hands-on senior tech lead with experience managing both mainframe (HPNS) and distributed technology resources
Knowledgeable in .NET (Classic ASP/.NET), SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience in Java client and server-side development, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture
Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML
Extensive experience in integrating database business processes and rules with middle-tier services
Proficiency in using ETL tools and methods to rationalize data from diverse sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, Amazon AWS, and MS Access.
Experience with platform-specific and platform-agnostic ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Informatica, Apache Airflow).
Expertise in building job orchestration workflows using tools like Control-M, Autosys, and ActiveBatch.
Experienced with leading onshore and offshore development teams.
Proven experience with both waterfall and agile development life cycle.
Expertise in system performance tuning and experienced with actor-based framework or Kafka is a plus.
Strong understanding of application instrumentation and software vulnerability remediation.
Strong knowledge of the Financial Services industry, front, middle, and back-office experience is a plus.

More than five years of development leadership experience, three years as a developer or architect lead and project manager.
Skilled in Vendor Management, Project Management, Enterprise Implementation, and Application Development.
Financial services industry experience specifically with asset and wealth management
General Experience – 10 to 15 years
Manager Experience - 6 to 10 years

Knowledgeable in mainframe (HPNS) a Plus
Expertise in system performance tuning and experienced with actor-based framework or Kafka is a plus.
