Role and Responsibilities The Opportunity We are seeking a confident individual with strong digital operations and contract familiarity in the ads space who understands the importance of communication, solutions and delivery. The individual should have a passion for contract management, helping to review, draft, negotiate contracts to support our Digital Advertising Sales Team, and cross-functional teams. Candidate must have strong contract review and redline experience, experience working with legal/compliance/privacy teams. The Business Affairs Manager is expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to project/operations management, including ability to prioritize projects based on details, terms, and balance work load individually, communicate and organize accordingly. Candidate must demonstrate strong communication & administrative skills. Candidates with a strong knowledge base of digital media operations including video, display and connected TV, Advanced TV and insights-based advertising experience a plus. The Business Affairs Manager will report directly to the Head of Business Affairs and based in the NYC office. Requirements

  • 5+ working in an organization that supports digital Advertising Sales functions
  • Seeking deep background in understanding digital advertising including CPM, Programmatic, Mobile Conversion/Mobile App, and Gaming contracts
  • Contract management experience
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be task driven & have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to manage high volume of deals, prioritize workload, and work independently
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic insight to build business cases for support resources
  • Flexible work hours desirable to support multiple time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • J.D. from accredited law school preferred
  • Candidates with a strong knowledge base of digital media operations including video, display and connected TV, Advanced TV and insights-based advertising experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Working cross functionally as liaison between Sales & Legal Teams
  • Draft, analyze, and negotiate agreements and amendments with the company’s customers, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Propose and develop scalable solutions to improve contract efficiency and foster sales success
  • Partner and collaborate with cross functional teams, including but not limited to Legal & Privacy teams, to achieve key business objectives and develop policies
  • Identify and evaluate business and legal risks and find creative ways to mitigate while achieving business goals
  • Familiarity as it pertains to IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) terms and conditions and negotiation of Insertion Orders (IO)
  • Review contracts to ensure that they meet predefined policies, including but not limited to privacy policies and ads guidelines as provided by Samsung Ads, including NDAs, Master Service Agreements, and various other contracts
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • Perform all other duties that ensure compliance with all standards and regulations
